The battery or which post is which? First, the positive (+) post is ALWAYS larger than the negative (-). The posts are well marked next to each post. If you llok at the terminals, follow which one is connected to the body of the car, thats ALWAYS the negative cable (-)

There are no jump points under the hood for this car. You will need to access the battery, which is in the trunk, under the carpet right next to the spare tire

Hi Your S class has two batteries. The smaller one is located in the engine bay, and the bigger one in the boot (trunk). No need to access any of them, simply open the door with key, insert key to start engine, you will notice that not all ignition lights will come on, but the engine WILL start, and the batteries will be recharged after a short while.

96 saturn SL main relay location
You have relays on the IP (IP refers to inside panel of car) junction box on the left side of the passenger's feet. The UP (UP refers to under hood panel of car) junction box closest to battery. Both have relays in them and will have the relays that you are looking for.

You will probably find the battery under the hood on the left or right in this vehicle and the fuses box under the left hand side dash by the driver. But it may be on the right hand side under the dash too. Easy to find either way. Hope this helps and you have a kind heart to give me a good thumbs up, Raz

Where is the power lock relay for 1996 Saturn SL located. My door lock spoturing and it maybe the cause of battery draw.
The various electrical relays in most cars are in fuse and relay boxes located under the hood. There are usually diagrams on top or underneath the boxes which show what each component does.

Can:t find horn relay location on 1998 saturn sl-1
They relay is on the horn itself. That's why a replacement horn is a dealer only item that's $85. You may need to do some creative wiring with a generic relay. Good luck.
