I have a 2008 Hyundai Accent 2 door hatchback. I locked the passenger door by pressing the door lock through the inside. Now it is not opening and seems to be caught/stuck on something. I can't open it using the key as it will not turn at all nor can I unlock it with the remote. What do I do?

The door 'lock/unlock' actuator is siezed up (corroded).... replace it (or have it replaced).

Every time i unlock my hyundai coupe it relocks its self its a 2004 v6 model

the accent does not have a v6 eng. but if it is an accent, with power locks, sounds like a bad power door lock actuator.

My 02 Sonata can be unlocked (all 4 doors) from the outside using the key in either the driver or passenger door, but will not lock. Any suggestions?

Yep... more information!.. same behavior when keyless remote is used?... IF SO, then you have a bad relay - door 'LOCK' relay.

Key fob wont unlock door or switch off alarm on my coupe

Take the vehicle into a Hyundai Service Center (dealership), pay the diagnostic fee. They can program your key fobs.

Central locking wont stay open

Here's what I suspect is happening. The door locks will lock and unlock normally when the key is OUT of the ignition. If the key is IN the ignition, the doors cannot be locked (manually, key fob, or otherwise, if the system is operating as designed - prevents the doors being locked when the key is in the ignition). I've seen this problem before, but on a Santa Fe, not an Accent. The ground signal of the right hand front passenger door was lost, and the doors automatically locked. Perhaps something similar is happening in the circuit between the ETACS module and the right front passenger door lock/unlock actuator. Could be anywhere in the circuit.

ab4c712.gif These wiring diagrams may be helpful. The relays expecially may help solve this issue. As you can see, these relays are also controled by the ETACS module (Remote Keyless Entry).

My hyundai car (1998- accent - coupe) battery is flat and its not getting opened...since it has central locking system..

Your key should work manually (without battery) on at least one door or the trunk/hatch. Otherwise the world would be filled with abandoned hyundais with flat batteries and no way to get in! Try the passenger side door; don't expect to hear the central locking relay, but if you turn the key far enough, that door should open.

How do I unjam a rear passenger seat belt from a hyndai accent 2000

i strongly recommend you take your vehicle to your vehicle's local dealer and have the belt removed from the door and then inspect the belt for damage. A damaged seat belt might break when you need it most. Seatbelts and safety are the most important thing!
