How do i replace the alternator on a 2000 tundra 4.7L 4x2 non serpentine configuration

I presume the serpentine belt is in the way. First, disconnect the battery terminal. Then make sure the serpentine belt diagram is readable and remove the serpentine belt. Then release the tension on the alternator belt and remove all the bolts and wiring.

Are the timing belt and the serpentine belt the same thing?

No. The timing belt is a toothed belt that drives the camshaft via sprockets on the camshaft and crankshaft; and it is located behind the timing cover and not visible until the cover is removed. The serpentine belt is a long ribbed belt that drives the accessories on the engine, e.g.: the alternator, power steering pump, and A/C compressor etc. It is in the open and visible.

How do you change the timing belt on a 2004 toyota tundra pick-up

You will need the factory service manual. I was able to do it in about 4 hours, but it is quite involved as nearly everything on the front of the engine needs to be removed.

2004 toyota tundra when need to change timing built its allready 90,000 millage

It is due, think about it. Its 5 years old, and Toyota recommends 80,000 miles for Timing Belt replacement. And when you change that, do the water pump because its right there too!!!

Chatter when turning

The serpentine belt should not have to be tightened because ther is a tensioner to keep it taught. If it feels loose then you need to check the tensioner and also see if the belt stretched. I hope this helps.
