Need to take it to dealer to relearn key fob,but they dont lose programming often,prob not working cuz it was dropped and the battery terminal insde broke off and not making contact,,

The only reset is if the key fob and the receiver get out of sync, to check that be out side of the car doors closed and unlocked. Press both lock and unlock buttons on the remote (key fob) at the same time if the doors lock and unlock that was your problem. It could be the battery it could be the key fob or the receiver.
You will have to relearn the key fob after removing the cable,turn the key on,leave it on for ten minutes,then turn it off,and right back on,do this three times,a total of 30 minutes to relearn the key fob.
turn the key on but do not start the car and press the gas pedal to the floor 3 times with in 5 seconds and then turn the key off and then on and it should be reset
I solved the problem by cleaning all the contacts with nail polish remover and then stuck small bits of aluminum duct tape to the bottom of the buttons (contacts). Everything works great, but I am not confident about the adhesion between the tape and the rubber. Good for now.
Anyone that runs into this needs to: Turn the key as if cranking the engine. Allow the key to return to the run position and LEAVE IT THERE for at least 10 minutes. Turn off key. Repeat two more times, or until the car cranks and runs.
I have seen this take up to 6 attempts, but most likely you will only need to make 3 cycles.
