2001 Echo will not start hot, starts cold OK - 2001 Toyota Echo

    Should have said CRANKS but does not start when hot.

    Thanks for the help. Also checking/replacing the Crank Position Sensor that has not been replaced via a Toyota recall. Might be Fuel pump? Any more help?

Hi it sounds like the distributor module as its a very common fault in elctronic distributors ok
Try a replacement & it should fix it straight away

How does the temp gauge work on these cars

with my 2000 echo when you start it a blue temp gauge looking like a thermometer shows when car warms up it goes out indicating it is warmed up....If the red one comes on after driving for a while it is telling you car is overheating very simple but very effective once you know this
