Start the vehcle and let it warm up then set all the controls to heater? Then turn off the car. Use the remote start to start the vehicle and check the controls are still set to heat mode.

The temperature of the outside air (according to the outside temp display) is what controls the settings of the climate control when in auto-start mode. When the outside temp gets cold enough, it will change from cold air to hot automatically. If it doesn't you need to check the reading on your outside temp display to make sure it's correct.

Heater blows cold air

First, make sure you are not low on antifreeze and that the heater is set correctly. Also, it is winter, make sure your coolant is not frozen. Heaters take longer to work in the winter when it is cold outside.

If the simple things are all ok, you may have a problem that will require diagnosis and new parts to repair. I recommend a pro shop with certified mechanics that will do the job right quickly the first time.

2007 dodge nitro not blowing cold air

The AC compressor may need recharged, or repaired / replaced. A lot of times what happens is through the winter AC units aren't ran so the seals recieve no oil and dry out letting coolant escape. Sometimes you can get lucky and a recharge (which contains oil essential for your seals) will do it - if they are too dry however, you will need a new compressor. You can have your AC unit recharged at nearly any dealership except in the state of California. Hope this helps.

Rear heater in my 05 trailblazer only blows cold air in the winter, why?

Check the coolant hose leading to the rear, if it's cold, need to replace the valve near the firewall.

No heat jaguar 88 xj6 fan wont turn on cool air out the defrost vent

I have the similar problem with both my Jaguars, one is a 1988 Jaguar XJS, the other is a 1987 Jaguar XJ6, both blow COLD air out some vents while it blows warm air for heat. I heard it had something to do with the cold air blowing as a dehumidifier, I don't know if this is true, but it is really annoying to have both cold and warm air blowing when I need heat in these cold Canadian winters. If you find out please drop this website a note and let us know how you solved it. thanks.
