Do the 94' nissan maxima have abs brakes

cud be dirty or low brake fluid----or bad abs module--or more------have system inspected by a brakepro soon before it cost alot or u crash

the module is bad. needs a new abs pump. to temporary remedy it find the pump and disconnect its plug. be careful as the abs now is not working ( not that it was before) and incase of full breaking car will lock and slide tires. take it to a shop to get replaced.

yes it is possible but i would look at the sensers first there might be one out on it

if they are not on the driver side then check under the hood. there are two fusible links under there

that has four wheel anti lock so your gonna need to either take all them off and clean ends it may correct the problem but more than likely your gonna have to take to a large shop that has abs computer to find which sensor is bad then correct the problem

The ABS system is INOPERATIVE as long as the warning light remains on. Recommend to have an ABS system diagnosis at local repair shop. Recommend to have repairs done asap as this is a safety issue. The brakes will function but the antilock feature will not.

sounds like a dodgy ABS sensor (change both) but while your there also check the condition of your brake pads
