WHEN INSTALLING THE TPS MAKE SURE THAT WHEN YOU PLACE IT ON THE TROTTLE BODY YOU CAN MOVE IT IT SHOULD ONLY MOVE ONE WAY. ALSO WHEN YOU INSTALL THE TPS DONT JUST LINE UP THE HOLE S FOR THE SCREWS YOU HAVE TO SEE WHICH WAY THE INSIDE OF THE TPS TURNS THEN INSTALL THE TPS A 1/8 OF A TURN OR SO THAT WHEN IT SLIDE ON THE TROTTLE SHAFT YOU CAN TURN IT TO MATCH UP THE SCREW HOLES.
Very carefully. It is not one of the things you want to mess with unless you have a scanner and the experience to know what adjustment you are making. There are two screws that hold it to the throttle body and the TPS is slotted so that you can turn it on the axes. But in 28 years, the adjustment I have had to do only happened when I replaced one, or when someone else was adjusting it. You do need the scanner to set it at the right place.
Hope this helps.
