I need a fuse diagram for a 92 e-350 cube van ? also truck ran out of gas now wont start .. Could fuel pump have gone bad .. Thsi is the first time it ran out of gas since ive owned it the last month.

sounds to me like you have a dead battery, a bad starter, or the elect. fuel pump in the tank has gone bad.

air lock in fuel line or pump burnt up find fuel pressure port hold open as engine is turned 15 seconds at a time so started wont over heat if no fuel comes out after several trys or little fuel pump went out also

First check your fuses. It should have one for your fuel pump. Most cases either the fuses are bad or the ground on the fuel pump is bad. If that is not the problem your fuel pump would have gone out. This is caused from old age or premature wear on it from driving around on empty all the time.

I think you are right. the van ran great the day before and then it wont start the next day, this sounds like the most common problem and that would be the fuelpump. A quick test to try to see if it is the fuelpump would be to have someone inside the van tryying to start it while you lay under it and beat on the bottom of the gas tank with a rubber hammer or something that wont damage the tank and while its being cranked you will beat on the bottom of the tank and see if it starts, if it starts then you will know for sure its the pump, this shakes and vibrates the pump to get going again, now be careful because it may run fine and even restart again but just know that it will die agagin so make sure to replace the pump, hope this works, i use this method at work all the time and it works most of the time unless the pump is to far gone. good day. please let me know what happens thank you.

If it is a minivan there is a connector under the floor on the drivers side behind drivers seat under van.(by front of sliding door) Could have water in it. Or your fuel pump could have gone bad.
If you have a rubber mallet I would try tapping on the middle of the fuel tank while someone is trying
to start it. Do you hear the fuel pump run for 3 second when the key is first turned on? If not hit the tank with the mallet. What van model and year and what engine is it?

If it ran before you ran out of gas, and now it doesn't, it is a pretty safe bet that it is NOT getting the gas where it needs to go.

What I would try is using some starting fluid or squirting some fuel into the throttle body to give the van a chance to get the engine up to higher speeds (however briefly) to increase the number of times the injectors fire, hoping to speed the process of fuel getting from the tank to the engine. Hopefully, in this way, you can reestablish normal fuel flow.

Plus, if introducing fuel does not get the engine to show signs of life, the solution starts to look like perhaps something more serious...

Check to see if the fuel pump is kicking in,
when you turn the key on without starting the van you should hear it kick on for about 2 seconds,

It could be...
A clogged fuel filter...
Blown fuse for the pump..or bad pump relay..
No gas
Bad fuel pump
