I replaced the ignition control module in my 99 GMC Sierra 2500. It still will not start. It turns over but wont start. Checked the fuses and the distributor and the coil. What else can I look for? The fuel pump is working and the fuel regulator has the required pressure.

Does the 1991 GMC Sierra 2500 have a starter relay ignition modual

NO VIN told so>?
C2500 or K2500, Sierra is trim.
a PICKUP truck>?
Not a Suburban right?

most cars made have starter relay so the super expensive ignition switch does not burn up ST contacts.
and cars GAS have ignition module, only location changes (if a Distributor it's there) if not Dizzy it's in the ECU or on some cars fire wall to COP coils.
1991 C2500 guess a Pickup is it?
4.3L engine, sorry not doing all 5 engines and diesel
shows distributor and ICM and 1 coil.
and no relay starter see schem.

try here>?

I replaced the fuel pump relay, noticed that i had a blown fuse marked ecm. repaced that.ran truck for around 20 min.turned off. when i went to start again it wouldnt. looked at that same 20 amp fuse

There are two ECM fuses - marked ecm 1 and ecm B.
ECM B powers the fuel pump and the Veh control module which handles most of the sensors.
ECM 1 powers the ignition module, coil, injectors and the rest of the engine sensors.
You may need a repair book with diagrams to check all of the circuits for shorts.
