The owner of the car should be able to locate and replace oil pan gasket .prepare the equipment to be used .Drain the oil from the oil pan ,spill it to an empty big can that can carry the oil from the oil pan. Then twist the bolts that connect the oil pan to the engine. After removing the bolts then you have take the old gasket off to the oil pan. After taking off the old gasket then you have to replace it with the new oil pan gasket.then return the oil pan with the new gasket. twist the bolt back until the oil pan that connect the oil pan with the engine. And return the drain plug twist until it will not spill.

Hi, I have a small oil leak coming from front right half of car. 2003 300m standard. Any thought on what it may be.

Could be: Oil Pan Gasket. OR the OIL LINE coming out of the oil pan and to the oil cooler in the radiator on the passenger side.. If it is engine oil, and not in a large quantity, like a drip on the driveway, look to the oil pan or the fitting. It is not too bad to replace- dirty, but not bad as it is fairly clear of obstructions. let us know and we'll walk you through it.

I NEED TO REPLACE THE OIL PUMP ON MY 1998 CHRYSLER 300, HOW DO I

first of all put the car on ramps and for safety put something behind the rear wheel and then start taking the bolts out of the pan and once the bolts are out use a large rubber hammer to get the pan loose do not use anything to pry the pan off and you see your oil pump
