This is amazing how is it possible for this guy name steve to give ppl advice on how to replace water pump on a probe here. read what he said carefully "drain coolant system..remove belt...remove all bolts..careful to not strip them, rotate removal off screws have a new gasket ready to but on new one and do the reverse..after installing i'd put into a can of pump lubricant and then a 50/50 mix of antifreeze..you can but it premixed." even a crackhead can tell you that much, the best advise here is the one boydlawnmowr has said here" i have a 95 ford probe gt, and i replaced my water pump myself. my advice to you is, if you are not a mechanic that has a carlift, metric tools, small hands, and no time frame, i would pay someone to do it for you. i will not do mine again, but if i had to i would pull the motor out and do it. if i hadnt of got my hands on a master mech. serving books, im not sure if i would have ever got the job done." its very time consuming and if you dont have the proper tools to do this you are looking to just get trapped because here is what ppl dont tell you the crankdshaft pulley has to come off the timing chain has to come last but not least the motor mount has to be removed and low jack needs to be used to lift engine up and down as needed to have aproper leverage for water pump removal. so you can imagine its no joke its crazy how this is incorporated deep under the hood

Im just asking what size the motor for a 1994 ford probe???

A dual-overhead-cam 4-cylinder engine powered base Probes in 1993, developing 115 horsepower. The GT coupe held a 164-horsepower V6, also of dual-overhead-cam configuration. Both engines are Mazda designs. No more turbocharged engines were available. A 5-speed manual transmission was standard; 4-speed overdrive automatic optional. Except for a slight horsepower/torque boost in 1995 for the 4-cylinder engine, and a mild V6 torque increase the year before, powertrains saw no change in this period.

hi, you may run out of fluid, find the clutch pump container and fill it up with brake fluid, if you see that is getting better then you have to bleede it out, hope it helps.

How do you change the belts (power steering, air conditioning, and water pump) on 1994 dodge shadow?

2.2, 2.5 (4 cylinder) or 3.0 (6 cylinder)?

On the 4 cylinder models the belts are just held on by various tensors either attached to their accessories (alternator, Powersteering) or via a pulley (AC, water) Release the tension, remove and replace the belt.

Diagram for intake manifold and fuel lines93 ford probe 4 cylinder

I have a 1994 Ford Probe with a Mazda MX6 2L 4 cyl engine.
When I started the car, lots of white smoke comes out of the exhaust.
Thinking it was an oil problem, I had new valve stem seals installed, plus a new head gasket etc, The 4 cylinders all have excellent equal pressure.
This did not solve the problem, as I now realize that the white smoke is actually water steam, and not oil.
The engine fuel mixture is running too rich, as the plugs are
very black.
Is it possible that the problem could be due to something wrong
with the inlet manifold? Could a broken manifold gasket cause these symptoms.
I do not have a car manual, but someone said that they think there is some sort of water pipe which is connected to the inlet manifold. (Which might account for the steam)
Can anyone please give me some advice on this problem.

1994 Ford Probe GT standard transmission - Will not shift into first or second while car is running. Shifts fine while car is off.

Check your slave cylinder Usually located below the brake master cylinder. If there' Fluid you probably need a clutch.
