My brake lights (rear) remain on even when truck

remove wheel then remove caliper compress the caliper piston remove old pads and install new one and reinstall caliper and wheel

why do you want to remove it/change it??pretty bullet proof piece. havent seen one fail yet. what is your actual problem?? Clarify issue.

it's the park brake light. it comes on telling you when the park brake is ingaged. there is a wire on the park brake thats of a low gauge it may have broke or the brake is slightly on

If purchased at the dealer, an arm and a leg. look to buy at ebay or amazon. there easy to install.

Make sure front diff engaging Should be a vacuum solenoid on outside of diff Also could be switch

Check tire balance, rear wheel bearings and i would replace u joints front and back, anyway if they have never been repaced.

I did the same thing with ppl tailgating me.... I had a relay and you hook the acc to the relay... grounds... and 12V switch wire.... splice a wire from the cargo light source to the relay... this will turn on whatever you want to hook up to the relay....
