ok rpt stands for repeat. when it says that it is the wrong code that you are putting in. you only get three trys on this. after the third time it will say off. you must wait 2 hrs with the stereo on until you can try putting a code in. you need to find the right code for that stereo.inside your manual book there should be a credit card size card that has a four digit code on it. that is your stereo code. put that in and your stereo should be up in running. good luck
Do this: If you have jumped or replaced the battery at anytime this will happen. You have to get the serial number off the radio by removing it or partially taking it out to see the numbers on it try not to remove any cords. With the stereo out (to make sure you get the right number off of it) call an Acura dealership with the number and they will give you the another number to enter into the stereo and directions on how to punch the numbers in. Make sure while you have the stereo out you write the serial number down and keep it in a safe place also the number that the Acura dealership gives you because if you sell the car or if it happens again its easily accessible. Good Luck!
The code will not be in the manual unless the previous owner wrote it there. Call the dealership that the car was bought from or if you have no clue as to where that was call the manufacturer. Have your VIN and the radios serial number.
Turn your radio off
Press the #1 Preset button and #6 Preset button at the same time and while doing this with your other hand turn your radio on and your will get a stereo code. Call the dealer and see if they will give you the unlock code for the stereo code otherwise go to stereo-code.com and pay $ 28.00 to get it quick
