The dashboard lights in my camry went out, but that is the only lights that went out. All the other lights inside and outside of the car work fine. Could it be a blown fuse or wire?

I'm not sure what model Toyota you have, but in a Camry, the cause is most likely a blown fuse. This is a 10A fuse labelled "Gauges" located behind a cover in the dash panel
Depending on the year. I.e. 89-91 camry, all have a yellow god fuse in the driver side of the trunk space behind liner.it is about 2''*3" cant miss it, being only yellow part. It is usual cause of certain outside lights completly out, have had to change mine 2 times in ten years, junkyard is best at 20$, new is near 200$.
That's a lot of work. The links on the door must have come off from the inside handle. You have to remove the inside panel from the door to check. I think the switches just have to be cleaned . It seems that when you press the lock button the passenger window activates . Somehow the window switch is activated by the power lock button. It may be that the 2 are stuck together in some way. You can remove the dash and buy some bulbs to relight your dashboard lights. The gear lights may not come on though. I think they are a different circuit. Good luck . I hope this helps you at least a bit.
Well Jennifer, it sounds like you've done all the things that I'd have done. Try for a bad ground next. Do the lights in the dash cluster work? They're wired together with the tail-lights (so that you know if the rears go out). There should be a ground wire somewhere connecting the body to the engine or chassis.Look around the rear of the engine bay. Good Luck.
Either the handle is broken inside the door, or the clip that holds the actuating rod is broken. If it either of these is shouldnt take any more than an hour to fix.
the dashboard will be need to be taken apart to change the bulb. A fuse alone won't fix it. Also, the day time running lights are not meant to go off. They are a standard safety feature.
