Problems with lights and steering in '97 Subaru Impreza Wagon

I am having problems with the steering in my 1997 Subaru Impreza Sport Wagon. It feels very loose, and shakes while driving over bumps. And I mean ANY bumps! Also about three months ago my parking lights and tail lights did not go off when I turned off the car. I have since had to remove my fuse during the day and replace it at night although this helps the dash lights do not work fuse or not. Which seems to have gone at the same time. Any help on either problem would be greatly appreciated.

If the, steering feels loose, have that checked ASAP. You know the parking lights/tail lights have there own seperate switch on the dash ...right.

97 subaru impreza outback sport- the fuse for my taillights/marker lights blows a couple mins after driving, but not when I'm parked with the lights on.. any ideas why that may be?

yes. check the wire to the tag light, also any wire you can see in the chassis. your problem is most likely to be outside. best luck to you

Parking lites stay on when car turned off. 2007 Subaru Outback 2.5 which relay needs to be replaced

I don't know about the 2007's but earlier models have a parking light switch located on the top of the steering column. See if there is a switch there that got moved when cleaning.

2002 Subaru Impreza Sport Wagon electrical problems, door locks

I have two Subarus, a 1990 and a 2000 -- both have systematic doorlock problems. The best suggestion I can give you is to Google Subaru forums, there are several good ones, and by postinfg and looking at archives, you will get answers from people who have had this issue.
