My 1992 chevy caprice wont start i put the key in and its doest turn i tried to turn the stearing wheel while i tried to turn the key and it still wont move

Try this-remove the battery and plug, then push and hold the power button for 30 seconds. This should reset the power.

My headlights, hazard, turn lights, and my horn does'nt have power. help.

you may have messed up the module your lights are ran in parallel circuits so just in case you loose one light you wont loose both. so my next thing to check would be the control module or the swith. get a test light and check for power at the switch. if you have power their go to the headlights and check power their.

So i have a Mercury CApris 91, i just replaced the alternator and battery and the battery still will not keep charge the charge will last about 1 day and then day ..and the only way to start it up is...

If you replaced both the alternator and battery and the car starts, if even only for a day, then it has to be the wiring from the alternator to the battery. Thats the only other thing I can think of. Check that or just replace the line and let me know how it goes.

I pulled the starter, alternator & battery they all checked good and ity still wont turn over what could it be?

If you can hear the starter click or engage when you try to start . Either the battery has low voltage or the engine has seized. You can check the engine by putting a wrench on the crank pulley bolt and try to turn by hand.Make sure to disconnect the battery first. If the engine turns it's good. If the starter is making a loud grinding noise but does'nt turn the engine. It's your flywheel/flexplate. Also make sure your battery connections are clean and tight for proper voltage delivery. I'm not sure if your car would have a fuse or power relay for the starter, but it might be worth checking out. If you do not hear a click from the starter when you turn the key it could be a short in the ignition switch. Not the key tumbler, the electrical switch is behind the ignition key tumbler. Hope this helps. Other than this you may need a repair manual to trace the wiring of the starting system and fusable links.

My security device won't unlock the door, and if I manually unlock it with the key, then it won't start - it seems to be disengaged.

Check the battery of your remote that could be accessed by removing the plstic cover. If that does nt work, remove the fuse with anti theft system kit, engine will wake up then, hope this will solve the problem

Elec power lost will not start

try cleaning the battery post with a noon corrosive cleaning solution. also, trace all wires that run to the battery for breakage and lose connections.
