Suddenly I have almost no clutch free play left in my 1990 Jeep Wrangler. Goes almost to the floor now. Was working fine yesterday. What's going on?

Most likely a failed clutch master or slave cylinder. Charlie

Sound like your clutch master cylinder has developed a internal leak or maybe even leaking out the back past the seals. Have you checked the brake fluid level in the clutch master cylinder resorvoir it may be low and you have air in the system. Either way you have a leak somwhere in the system and you need to determine where it is. Fill your resorvoir with approved fluid and while some one is pumping your clutch pedal see if you can see where the fluid is leaking from the jeep. Reair or replace as necessary.

After changing transmission and clutch in 91 Wrangler, clutch goes to floor. Tried bleeding line but didn't work.

The clutch should go to the floor =) But if it's not disengaging the clutch disk, there's definitely a problem between the pedal and the clutch disk. I'm guessing you have a hydraulic clutch?

My 1993 jeep wrangler clutch keeps giving out even after i bleed the line..any thoughts? it works fine for a little while then goes to the floor again

replace the CLUTCH MASTER and SLAVE assembly! Age of that classic jeep needs NEW CLUTCH MASTER and SLAVE! That part together w/ clutch slave should be change! Personally i have experience replacing the kit only, it didn't last longer than expected and even got me in trouble, and I spend like i bought a NEW one! So its up to you to decide? taaah!

I have a 1989 jeep wrangler. yesterday, after the stick shift felt stiff to shift, the clutch felt suddenly loose. Today, the stick shift stopped moving completely while i was driving. Finally, I was able...

Sounds like you are having a clutch problem. The sudden looseness in the clutch pedal indicates a problem with either the hydralic system, (slave or master or line) leaking or clutch pressure plate going out. Check your clutch fluid resevoir first, if low look for a leak under the vehicle, have a friend push the clutch and get underneath to find leak.
