1994 Acura Legend check engine light is on. When starting the car the light comes on and the check engine light goes out after 3 or 4 seconds and the car starts but then stalls out.
Turn the ignition key to the acc or lock position with the odometer reading showing.
while holding the trip/reset button turn the ignition to the on position. light should flash and go out!

sorry i posted in the wrong question. but to help you i need to know a few more things. how long does it run for and does it start right up every time?
the check engine light seems to be operating correctly by what you said.
if i had some more info i could better help. but my first idea would be a fuel filter.
sorry no reset button. you will need to see if it has spark and fuel when you arecrankingand not starting. do you know how to dothat? i will guide you through it if you want. let me know

The car runs for about 15-30 seconds and then stalls out. Where is the reset button on a 1994 Acura legend?
It does not start-up right away. It crank and gets very close to starting. After 3 or 4 tries, it starts then stalls out.
