Saturn tail light housings are a known problem. Saturn had a service bulletin on them and would even compensate for the expense of the replacement for the 2000 model in late 2000 and 2001. The contacts are cheesey and made of plastic...get hot then warp and break. Poor design and a unreliable system. Cost on replacements is very high. You might find a useable one in a salvage yard, hard to say if it works until you install it.

The engine light is not tied to the oil change. After 2000 Saturns had an oil change light which was reset by pressing a button in the underhood fuse panel. You have another problem, and someone with an analyzer should take a look at it.

its easy,remove the ipc bezel,like 2 screws and pull it out the youll see a few smalle bolts holding the cluster in take them out and there u go its out,find the burnt one before you take it out,,,

When the computer senses that there is a problem with one of the components or sensors it stores the correspondent trouble code(s) in its memory and lights up the "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" light to tell you that there is a problem and you need to diagnosed and repaired it. The list of possible codes number in the hundreds. The code itself doesn't tell exactly what component is defective - it only indicates where to look, or what engine parameter is out of normal range. You or a technician will have to perform further testing to pinpoint cause and the proper repair. Even if you reset the light, if the underlying problem is not addressed it will come back on.
