Hi the radio in my audi a4 has just stopped working -i am unable to tune it in to get any radio stations -the station comes up on the display but there is no sound not even static.

your probably in a bad place and you wont pick up a signal like if your out of cell phone range, except your probably out of radio range for am stations.

is the antenna good/ connected, can you tune in to a strong station manually? if so, its in the radio.

Not familiar with Audi but most have a SCAN button and a SEEK button , seek is what you want to use.

You need to use a code which came with the care when new. If you don't have it your dealer will be able to get if for you (for a price).

am and fm? if so u may just have a stuck button

mine used to do the exact same thing. it probably has to do with the singla strength. i just tuned in manually, then i just got an aftermarket stereo, but it does the same thing. it doesnt pick up every single station there is, clear or not clear.

do you get any stations, even weak stations on the AM band?  If not you have a bad radio and need replacement.  Try having someone hold the antenna as you scan the AM band.

i have the exact same problem. i bought a fm transmitter, so i need to tune to a unused fm station in my region wich i cant do because the audi concert tunes up automatic and skips the unused stations ... HELP !

Try just holding the button of choice down. In my Audi, when I had a factory head unit, to set for example, preset 2, I'd just tune to the station I wanted to program, and then hold down the number 2 preset button until the display stopped blinking. It was then preset.
