2003 Accord V6 coupe drivers side power window dont work, passenger side does when from drivers side button. how can I tell if its a switch or motor problem?

if not working from drivers or passenger side you need to remove passenger side door skin, with a test light check for power at the motor? If you have power at the motor and the motor is grounded you need a motor. If you dont have power and ground then you need a switch. This can be tricky sometimes the passenger switch is good and the problem is in the drivers side switch which is the main controller.

if u switch it on the motor should make a noise then the motor is ok/ check fuses / the switch and the relays....

I just bought a 2007 accord and its having the same problem. Was there any resolution?

is the motor turning when you press the switch if so when installed can you hear the motor running if so does your car have a cable style window regualtor if so your regualtor may be bad. but if that is not the case first try running the motor straight off of the battery one wire to ground the other to postive if the motor turns your good but if you hook it up to the oem wiring and it does not com on replace the switch. just because the drivers side switch for the passenger window works doesn't mean that you can't still have a bad switch.

have the window regulator checked. If you are hearing clicking from both sides, your regulators are worn/damaged. Hopefully this helps

mine does that. i just pull the switch a little harder on drivers side and it works

check fuses & relay they may be bad

test at the motor inside the door to see if you have power ,could be the motor itself

all windows run off one fuse. you may have problem with the switch. it self.

I wouls suspect you have either a inoperative window regulator (the frame work for the power glass) or a bad power window motor. More often then not the are sold as a single assembly and are not very hard to replace on this vehice.
