2001 Chrysler town and Country tire size

I need to replace my tires on my 2001 Chrysler town and Country. What is the tire size?

  • Josh Johnson Aug 21, 2017

225/75R16 or if you have a different rim size just change the R16 to your rim size. I have the same year and make and that's what is on mine. Have a ? for you have you ever had to mess with the timing belt on it?

Why does my 2001 Chrysler town and country shake like it has a flat tire going on a highway but does not and it does not happen all the time

Check your tires for any "hot spot". Hot spots are created if car has been stored for a long time or from abrasion due tire locking from an emergency stop.

2001 chrysler town country shakes running at 40mph but stops shaking when it reaches 60mph

Could be a tire out of balance, a drive axle, or something in the engine.
Is the check engine light on ?
Would it shake if you were coasting down a hill at 40 or 50 mph ?

What size tires go on a 2003 Chrysler Town & Country Ltd? Just need to replace the tires and I don't have the book. I also cannot see the sizes on the side of the tire.

Looks like the standard size is 215/65/16. If you also need an Owner's handbook, feel free to email me at [email protected] and I can send you one immediately. I think I have the 04 Dodge Caravan version but it will be able to give you a lot of the basic information you may want!

I can not remove the spare tire on my 2001 Chrystler Town and Country. The spare only comes down a few inches. It don't come down to the ground like it should.

Are you using the rod and turning the crank to lower the spare tire? There will be a little hold along the trim of the trunk opening by the top of the bumper. You need to insert the rod into this hole and crank it to lower the tire

Can't remove the wheel from a 2006 town and country

aluminum wheel, steel hub. corrosion creates a sticky situation. Try a large blow to the side wall of the tire, carefully as the blunt object used will most certainly bounce back! A couple of blows to the front then rear of the sidewall (while looking at tire from side) should brake it free, when replacing, use anti-sieze on the hub where alum and steel meet.
