The airbag light on dashboard is on. What does it mean?

Code 95 on your 2010 Vauxhall Astra Life points towards a fault with the airbags; in other words, your airbags require servicing. That is in reference to your airbag system, also known as supplemental restraint system (SRS), hence the association with the seatbelt, which is the primary restraint system. If the light is on, it means you need to have your airbag system checked for malfunctions.

There is probly a wiring short causing this meaning the airbag me not deploy in a wreck.

Depending upon which "airbag light" you see, it's one of two things:

1. If you are seeing the yellow AIRBAG light on your dashboard, it means that your airbag system is not operating properly, and should be serviced IMMEDIATELY, because it will not protect you in the event of a collision;
2. If you are seeing the light in the middle of the dashboard that says "PASS. AIR BAG OFF," it means that you have disabled the passenger air bag, and it will not deploy in the event of an accident. Follow the directions in your User Manual.

Hi if the airbag light is on it means there s a malfunction in the system , a code reader will be needed to diagnose what is actually wrong
In the mean time while the light is on the airbag will not opperate so its best from a safty point of view its best to get it fixed

oil pressure light get the oil pump checked

It means that a SERVICE is due. The orange man symbol is showing there is a problem with the airbag system. 

If your airbag light comes on it means its not working. Some of the newer airbag systems have weight sensors under the seats and anything lodged under them can disable the passenger airbag and possibly cause the light to go on. If there are no other symptoms, and nothing impeding the airbags then the car thinks the airbag wont work. If you are concerned for your son's safety, take it to a qualified mechanic and have them check/replace your airbag. Good Luck!

This light is telling you that you have an Airbag Problem. You might want to Locate a Mechanic and have this Checked out. This is not something that you want to try and fix yourself as the AirBags could go off and Cost a Lot more to have the Dah and Sterring Wheel Replaced.
