Long crank after hot soak is usually caused by a leaking fuel injector that's flooding the engine. Depress the gas pedal while cranking when hot to see if that makes a difference. If it does, try adding a fuel injector cleaner to your gas tank. Chevron Techron or RedLine fuel system cleaner.

4.3L V6 CPI - center port fuel injection . you need 62 psi .When cold give it a shot of carb.cleaner or starting fluid ! does it start then ?

that has a votec engine in it the fuel pressure is droping at knight and it takes 60 psi before the injectors will fire most likely cause fuel pump ,leaking injector ,or a feul pressure regulator

sounds like coil problem, coils will start cold then get hot and stop. when coil cools will crank up and run till it gets hot, try to replace the ignition coil,dont think it would be a crank sensor, try a coil,thanks robert b.

What engine? 4 or 6. Do you mean it will turn over but not start?

Explain "jared" - if hit hard enough - check SRS system - check factory security system [related to "beeping"?] - check for shorted wire near starter - just a few suggestions.
