I take it that you already changed the "button-type" battery in it? A CR-2022 or so. Is it in the right position / polarity?

Does the battery need changing on the key fob?
you can check by using you'r mobile phone cam & pointing the key fob (ultra violet bulb) at the lens when pressing the button, you should see the light flashing on the key fob looking through the camera, you can use any camera, most of them will see the light as it's out of our sight range but cameras pick it up.
If not then unscrew the key fob & split it carefully (use an old credit card not a knife or screwdriver) & change the battery.
If the fob work's then the problem is with the receiver, usually up by the rear view mirror.
Hope this help's !

Try this, press and hold the large button on your key fob, after 20 seconds press the small button while still pressing the large one, the led light will go out and will reset your remote. It worked for me. ray1297

Key fob for my peugeot 206

Yes you can have multiple key fobs for one vehicle. They will need to be programmed. Some cars require that you program all key fobs at the same time and can only be done through a dealer scanner and some will have instructions in the owner's handbook.

A colleague checked all my fuses on my peugeot 206 - 02 reg. This involved taking them all out one by one and checking them - This was due to a headlight problem - The headlights have now been replaced and...

you can reset it your self bu putting the key in the ignition switching the ignition on and pressing and holding the unlock button for 3-5 seconds then switching ignition off removing the key and try the central locking

Hi, I have an 03 plate Peugeot Expert and have lost the radio code, anea idea please? serial number is CL040130875139, model PU-2294A(C) Regards Tim

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.

(There are usually two barcodes on one label. The one required is the lower one )

There is a 20% chance of you having this barcode Serial Number

If not then unfortunately it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service

Fob wont work the locks

I have done this procedure for my peugeot 307, but you can give it a try for your Pug expert and let me know if it works.
Disconnect the battery for 5 minutes then after connecting the battery perform the following steps
1. Turn the Ignition switch to the ON position using your key.
2. Press the LOCK button for 10 seconds. It will set your ECU in programming mode.
3. Remove the key and wait for 10 seconds.
4. Press the buttons on the key repetedly for operation (lock und unlock doors) to synchronise the key signals.
5. Again turn the ignition on and start the engine.
6. Turn the ignition OFF

If fails in step 4, then disconnect the battery and reconnect it and wait about 10 minutes to check the remote. Some new ecu units synchronises itselfs if you disconnect the battery while in programiing mode.
