The cluster works just for twenty minutes then, backligth goes out and the only gauge that works is the temp, speedometer, and rpm , the gas gauge does not function. But the niddle ligths works on all of them.
Although when everything comes on when it want to come ,the whole cluster works as normal. Is there anything i can do to fix these problem, could it be that wirring is comming loose off of the wirring connections?
to top it all off , how can i reset my radio i think that radio is on safe mode, fuse is good but i can't get the power to come on on the power nob.Does anyone could give me a hent how to power is back up?
I don't know where to start on this cluster problem cost of repair is bit spendy

Mr. I also have similar problem about cigarette lighter, I did fix it myself because mechanic can't fix it. So I did play around to it and I did locate the issue. First check by getting a dc voltmeter and test it. if their is a current but low their is a short circuit on it, twist the bottom metal to avoid short circuit on it when you plug something.

replace the power steering pump. make sure you get crush rings for the hoses too. dont use stop leak stuff either because it WILL clog the filter in the power steering rack and then youll have to replace that too.

Possible fault according to your input could be dry points or fault connectivity within the cluster. Try to look for dry solder joints on the sensors which give the input, or clean the connectors using dirt cleaners. As the condition improved after reassembly it cannot be a failure but a fault joint in the electronics. I request you take your time to redo the earlier work with more patience, use a lens to detect any loose connection, if possible use a multimeter to test the continutiy.Good Luck.
