I think you are they should be color coded and match up directly .....however if you changed the wires completely they i would suggest find another 2003 Impala and either photograph it or write the sequence down a dealership will allow you to look at the motor even if you have to pretend you want to test drive it or just look it over

2003 Chevrolet Impala ls 3.8l. "Hello, I have an

P0171 and P0174 are lean codes. There is likely a large vacuum leak or the MAF is bad.

Try starting the car and wiggling the connector for the MAF sensor. Also try tapping the MAF sensor. If the idle changes or the car stalls replace the MAF sensor.

The second shop should recognize that these codes don't have anything to do with the ignition module.

Why is there a electric plug under the hood of my 2003 impala

Hi, someone has likely installed a block heater for cold climates. In Northern climates, the car is plugged in overnight to keep the engine from freezing. If you have recently moved to the north, talk to your neighbors about how to use a block heater in the local area. If you bought the car used and do not live in cold climates, you can ignore the heater.

2003 chevy impala ls starts then stalls

I have replaced the radiator in my 2003 Chevrolet Impala LS. The car started running hot and shut down. Took it to a radiator shop and found a crack in the radiator. I have replaced 2 thermostats in the car already. I noticed water running from under my car today and it seems it was coming back out of the overflow. I am stumped as to what is going on with this car.
