Its your life your playing with so Check out by jacking up front of car put bar between w/bone and X member and pull and push front and read mostly bushes but there are a bugger to fit and must be done the correct way or the steering can be allover the place also the Caster and Camber must be done again plus the Tracking at 1/8"
So for the sake of other road users plus your own life get the people who no to do the job (you check it and find the fault by all meens but that as far as you go unless you want bad nights sleep).

Front end noise

A few possibilities with front end noise. Possible worn shock bushings or suspension bushings. As a car accelerates or slows down, the front suspension raises or lowers, thus causing movement of front end components.

My 2001 bmw 325i has a very bad shutter at 40 Kmh, it has 15800 on the clock

hi these have a common fault with the lower wish bone the rear rubber bush and the ball joint on the hub tend to wear quick, to check this jack it up at the front and pull the front wheel in and out and look under the car to see if there is movement on the wheel hub ball joint or the bush at the back of the wish bone hope this helps

I have a 98 xj8 and it has been stood for 4 years so I have just replaced all the brakes and front suspension bushes. On the bottom wish bone there is a dot and a line for setting the position of the bolt...

the datum marks on the eccentric bolt heads are to help reassemble when you have replaced suspension parts to make it easy to set up the camber/castor front wheel tracking you should make a note off the original settings before dismantling use the centre setting ie middle line to dot BUT THE FRONT CAMBER/TRACKINGCASTER SHOULD BE CHECKED ADJUSTED BY A SPECIALIST WITH 4 WHEEL ALIGNMENT KIT

How do i release the air in the bags on a 2003 lincoln navigator 2 wheel drive

First thing is why would you want to and then next is make sure the air ride is turned off. At the top of the air springs there a valve you will have to removed the line off of the valve and then remove the valve from the air springs, then you can remove it. Hope this helps

Front left suspension noise when reversing

I think you will find its either your lower wish bone bushes need replacing OR its could be brake pads moving in housing as when going forward its the same way as disc goes but in reverse they slide backwards about 5mm if housing is worn ..
other wise you should be ok BUT
Chesk wishbone movement with all wheels on the ground not jacked up
