I recently purchased a 1998 Ford Mustang that had front end damage. The old lights are need to be replaced and when looking at it noticed that the bracket inside where the headlight attaches is broken and is allowing the headlights to bounce when I drive. I can only find new headlights but not the inside bracket. Where can I find that bracket?

Ur not gonna find that as a replaceable part, it's part of the front end frame unless u goto a junkyard and replace it. I would take it to a muffler shop and have it welded.

How to wire a push button start on a 1998 5 speed 3.8 mustang

If the wires are loose just tighten them. First you need to take the battery ground off the battery so you don't short out your wrench.

THE ROOF OF MY 1998 MUSTANG GOT PUSHED IN PRETTY GOOD.WILL IT BE EASY TO FIX AND HOW MUCH MONEY AM I LOOKING AT?

I'm not sure what you mean by pushed in. The top has rigid bows that support. the top. However i just replaced my top on a 96 mustang the top and rear window cost me under $300.00 (plastic rear window), I installed it myself with my brothers help and although it took about 12 hours to remove the old one and completely install the new one. An aphoulstry shop wanted $1600 to replace with heated glass. However the top I purchased had a heated glass option for an Additional $200. My Bows were still good and did not need to be replaced however it sounds like you may have bent the bow. in which case you would have to partly remove the cover to get to the bow you need to straighten if possible, or replace the bow the company i bought my top from www.convertibletopguys.com made by M&T Manufacturing. I believe they may carry replacement bows and tack strips as well. good luck

Recently purchased a 1994 Ford Bronco with a 5.8 L. The ABS light is on. I noticed some unconnected plugs under the hood but do not know where they go. It looks like some of the original wiring has been...

Sometimes the manufacturer will use the same harness for different engines. This sometimes leaves unused connectors. The ABS light is in reference to your Antilock Braking System. The system should be checked for codes so you know what item to fix or replace. You can check the 2 front wheels for broken wires and either the end of the transmission (or transfercase) or the end of the differential. This is the location of the 3 wheel speed sensors.

965 Ford Mustang 2+2 fastback. I noticed a hose hanging rear

The hose is likely the differential vent hose. If you get under there and take a look around the rear end you will likely see where it was originally secured.

The stop light switch keeps going out on my 1998 ford mustang. Is there a known root problem for this? I have had to replace it four times in the past 4 years, the most recently being 1 month ago, and now...

Make sure switch is installed properly and it has the proper bushing in it. make sure the hole on the hydroboost push rod isn't damaged and crushing switch internals when braking. hope this helps

1998 mustang gt coolant leak

I just had the same problem. Ford design the intake manifold with plastic water crossover which cracks. The coolant will leak onto the top of the block and and then down the back of the engine. This intake design is a known defect and was ocvered under by Ford for 7 years past the date of mfg. The crack either is in the crossover or the thermostat housing. I happed on this when I found the same leak and traced it back to the thermostat housing. I changed the thermostat, but it leaked worse. You can pickup a aftermarket for $200 and it's about 4-6 hr job to replace.
