Have you checked the fuses?

if this is the service light, you could try 1.Disconnect battery for couple of minutes. 2. on trip meter button hold in and turn ignition on wait till light goes out in possibly 10-15 seconds

the key sensor is bad

use the key in passernger door and lock it then do the same on driverside then go back to the passenger side and unlock with key then driverside this wil reset the alarm and the vehicle should start.

does it crank or turn over y/n
if it cranks over change the pickup coil/ignition control moduel if it doesn't crank check the battery cables / alternator / if it sets overnight and starts in the morning the battery is good

get the new shoes worn in, then adjust the brakes, all before you focus on the e-brake. Most likely the adjustement will be okay after brakes are worn in and re adjusted...

Check and see how much your alternate is putting out. Make sure that your battery cables are clean. Check the water in the battery. It sounds more like a connection problem than stater.

check the Battery connections, specaily earthing or ground which come from negative terminal from the battery how is fitted and where you fitted.
