Right beside the oil filter. easy to change and cheap part. $30 for part and 10 min to change. just be sure you have old paper or something to cover your area from oil leaking.

SOURCE: I need help in finding

First find the compressor which is attached to the engine. It is a round metal piece with a pulley attached to the serpentine belt. It will have two metal tubes coming out of it. If you can't find it or aren't sure, just turn the AC on and listen for it to engage (have someone else turn it on while you are listening).

Follow those two metal lines until you get to the two tees with plastic caps. One tee is the high pressure side (usually red) the other tee is the low pressure side (usually blue). If you are buying a recharge kit then it will only fit properly on the low pressure side.

Oil light comes on ,when oil is full.

The sensor may be bad. You may want to have the OCD codes read to see if a reset is necessary. If not, here is the replacement: http://www.nextdayauto.com/2005-ford-ranger-engine-oil-pressure-switch-v6-30-motorcraft-w0133-1815235.html

I had the oil pan replaced on my 1995 F 150 Ford automatic two wheel drive truck and now I have no oil pressure.

Ok this might be a clogged pick up . Make sure pan is not beat up and blocking off the the pick up .if the engine is not making noise it could be bad pressure switch. If you haven't had pressure checked by a good shop I would to be safe.also check and make sure it is plugged up. Switch is normally next to oil filter in block.

My low oil pressure light comes on at low idle on my 2005 Ford Freestyle. Could the switch be bad?

Yes the switch could be bad but the engine ciould also be low on oil or the oil pump could be going bad. The plan would be to check and top up the oil if necessary. If it still does it then have a mechanical oil pressure guage put in and get an acutual reading. This will tell you if it's the switch or the oil pump.

2005-low oil pressurer explore

I'm assuming you have a low oil pressure indicator on the dash. Have you checked the oil level? If it is at correct level, it is possible the oil pressure sender/switch isn't reading the pressure properly. Also it is possible that bearings in the engine are worn out, or that the oil pump isn't working properly. If you don't have a pressure gauge to screw into the engine where the switch is, I would start by replacing the oil pressure switch.

SOMETIMES OIL PRESSURE LOW LIGHT COMES ON AND IT SMELLS HOT BUT OIL LEVEL IS GOOD

at the best, the oil pressure switch is leaking oil on the exhaust, if not ,there may be trouble, have a shop check the switch.

Speedometer will not work 05 mustang

I have the same problem with my 05 mustang, including the oil pressure needle. This year of mustang has defective stepper motors in the instrument cluster which will fail over time. Ford will fix it for $500-$600 however there are places that will rebuilt the instrument cluster for much less with the improved stepper motors. Hope this helps.
