My Chevy Kobalt alarm don’t want stop honking

Usually a bad sensor, especially if there is an ultrasonic or passive infra-red sensor inside the car. Some aftermarket alarms have a bump sensor to alert if someone tries to tow the vehicle away. You need a good alarm installation place or an auto-electrician.

Find the Honking device thats making the Noise underneath the vehicle and disconnect it!
Put a piece of black tape over the flashing led.

Actually, you probably need to see a company that installs alarms or the supplier of the alarm you are using. Assuming that this was a custom installed alarm and not the one that came from the manufacturer. If it is a standard Toyota Corolla type alarm, then a Toyota Dealership may be able to help.
Alarms often have small dip switches inside the alarm box that allows it to be customised to suit your needs.

Why not just unplug the horn rather than the battery? One wire plugs into it. The cause could be a number of things. (i.e. Horn button stuck in steering wheel, defective anti-theft system, etc....) This is a tough one to diagnosis.

try changing battery in the remote

If you want to disarm the alarm then press the unlock button on the key. Usually the alarm stops after 15 minutes of flashing and 3 minutes of honking. But the system will tell you that the alarm had been triggered whilst you were away by giving 3 honks when you return and unarm the system.

hook it up and wait a min or 2 for it to stop or disarm the alarm after but i think it will stop after 1 or 2 mins

You might can have the dealer program it not to honk, but its just the way the keyless entry works. I've owned 2 accords--an 06 and 08--and both of them honk the horn when the lock button is pressed twice. Pressing the button once will secure the car and arm the alarm. So once click is all you really need. And no your alarm is not malfunctioning.

i would take it o the dealer and hav the alarm removed or disarmed so that it dosent happen again
