Jane, depending on the year of your vehicle you can't swap out engine controllers because of the PIN number that's imbedded within the controller from the manufacturer. Also if you have theft alarm it goes into lock-down. If you are positive your controller is bad its best to buy a loaded engine controller if one is available for your vehicle. Hope this helps and please visit my auto-repair-website here: http://www.bigasautorepair.com/
Then I would recommend that you go buy one. Manuals are copyrighted material and cannot be posted on this site. If you want service information for a car or truck, You can get access to that information at alldatadiy.com fo a small fee of about $27/year. It would also be helpful if you would take the time to mention what kind of manual you are needing.
Check Ford 1995 -
2000 Repair Manual for details or
try autozone.com
to see if they have your car listed for diagrams pictures and step by
step instructions if your car is not listed then try your local library
they have all the car manuals and even copy them for you.
Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback
is important and
I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some

hi my brake lights arent working on my honda civic 1400 auto on a v reg 1999 model i checked all the fuses and all ok but then after i put them all back my abs light is stayong on on the instument panel can anyone help me plz as im disabled and im geeting anxious about this ??
Your ecm is going bad. If you haven't noticed yet, the vehicle will only start once the check engine light comes on, on the dash. That's the ecm finally sending power to the relays that feed the fuel pump and ignition systems. If you're mechanically and electrically handy you can remove the ecm, disassemble it and replace the three power capacitors inside. If not, just have the ecm checked and replaced.
Sounds like i would run a scan on the ecm
engine control Mogul
there could be a number of problems this scan will pin point it. most auto parts store can do this.
