Most likely a wheel bearing. to determine which one, lift up the car so wheels are in the air. grab onto the strut spring, and spin the wheel. You should fell roughness in your hand on the wheel that is bad, the good wheel will fell smooth.

I've been trying to fix a roar and a severe vibration coming from the front/right side of my wife's 2004 Honda Pilot. ball joints are good, struts are fine, and brakes are solid. Thanks for any help

Roar can often be associated with failing wheel bearings, but they usually don't cause severe vibration, maybe a little bit when turning. Vibration in the drive train is most often associated with struts and/or CV shafts/joints going bad. If you are sure the struts and strut mounts are good, then I'd have the CV joints looked at.

2005 KIA SEDONA OUTPUT SHAFT SEAL

Hi Phil, On the Spyder end of the shaft that fits into the gearbox there is a retaining clip. Did you knock it in securely? If you did then a seal may have become damaged when making the replacement. That will need replacement. Regards John

Cv axle

Yes, a CV joint problem can cause a popping noise in the front end (usually worse when turning).

ROARING sound IN RIGHT FRONT WHEEL ON pontiac aztec

Two likely problems.

CV Joint, or Wheel Bearing... constant "roaring" that does not change under power, breaking or turning is likely a Bearing, worse when turning or accelerating, CV Joint. Both fun to fix...!

Peace,

2004 Kias Sedona. I have the replaced the Front Wheel Bearing (Passenger Side) 4 Times in the last 6 months. The last one lasted 2 Days. It was sluggish going uphill, jerking, and then there was a loud...

My guess is the original shim that came with the factory bearing and hub assembly was discarded and never installed on the new bearing (That does not come with a shim) causing the new bearing to fail.

Winding noise and vibration when driving on front right tire

you could have more than one problem the vibration accelrating maybe an inner cv joint ,if you just had the tires replace and an aligment done they should have checked the front end for worn out ball joint and tierods but the wheel bearing may not have any movment but can still make noise

Same Problem here... Kia sedona 2002

Several items can contribute to the shaking of the front end. Bad tires, any slack in the hubs, a bad CV joint, worn tie rods, ball joints. I would first check out the tires and then proceed to searching for components that have worn and have slack in them. Replace as necessary.
