what is this P5002 thing, no scan too shows that for OBD2.

it is a top 8 ton heavy truck, and not sold here.
now called a FUSO truck 2003 to present.
all the OBD2 reader is failing, so that means DC power is failing
most the time.
signal fails means ECU stopped sending data to the tool. 4D34 is listed as direct injection turbo, correct?
step 1, stalls. and lost comms.
the battery for weak (load tested) and make sure alternator /gen is working or computers on board will go off line and dummy up.
lost comms
all fuses checked good.
Need a bit more info about that. You need to get hold of an OBD2 diagnostic tool (code reader) , plug it in and read off DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Codes)
heres a link to saab.se trouble codes listing, look up the Code numbers and make a note of the codes that your car's ECM throws up. https://saabinfo.se/en/og-9-5/error-codes/obd2-error-codes/
usual suspects are CPS (crankshaft position sensor), which are in the general area of P0335 onwards in the listing, but it could be a number of other things too. More info required please.
It may well be the crankshaft position sensor, which is one of the most common error codes for any vehicle.
Unfortunately there's no way of testing a crankshaft position sensor other than replacing it.
A point to bear in mind is that an error code can display as a warning light .. and the true fault may be 'unknown'.
You have a choice: replace the crankshaft sensor in the hope that things are fixed .. or get a professional diagnostic check done. A mobile mechanic ..
A hand-held diagnostic machine is unlikely to be able to identify an error code on a pre-2004 vehicle. That's why mechanics -good ones - have a 'selection' of hand held diagnostic readers.

Hello: I don't know where you got that code from or what kind of scanner was used or if the operator of the scanner enter the truck information correctly. I think the code is po45 which would indicate the rear O2 sensor is faulty or faulty wiring to the rear O2 sensor. The rear O2 sensor is behind the catalytic converter. I would get the code re-checked again. Auto Zone O'REilly or Advance auto will normally check the code at no cost to you.
