1995 JEEP WRANGLER Automatic 4 cyl. gears starting to slip

Hello.  My jeep has recently started to slip gears.  When I first start it it does not seem to engage right away.  When I am driving it may slip out of gear driving at slow speeds and highway (60mph).  I just replaced the thermosttat and changing the clutch fan because of overheat isssues and did not know if this may have been part of the problem.  Please, any advice would be greatly appreciated.  It has 170k on it and i would like to make the thing last without losing my shirt.  THank you in advance

Ck the condition of the tranny fluid. If the fluid is very dark, it will need changing. Another problem with the jeep auto tranny is that if the fluid has not been changed in a long time, the clutch material will wear and clog the tranny filter inside the pan.If there is alot of clutch material in the pan and you change the fluid and filter, sometimes the tranny won't work because the clutches are worn out too much.

Get a can of starter fluid and spry some inside the carburetor, if the engine start you have fuel problem, check inline filter, check pressure fuel. If problem is resolve pour a can of B12 liquid inside the gas tank. This liquid will clean, water, fuel ejectors and fuel line.

check the ground wirea at the dipstick tube, remove them all,and bend the ends of the wire, look for weak or broken wires, i bought several 4 cyl jeep that had problems at shift, fall on their face < after the engine settled back in to place,so wires made contact> just a thot. the ground wires are small the engine moves, when shifting.
