You have to completely remove the steering wheel and disassemble the anti-theft lock. Call an auto locksmith

The thermostat is found at the end of the top radiator hose . Find the top radiator hose and follow it to the engine .There you will find a thermostat housing with the end of the hose attached . There will be 2 bolts holding down the housing to the engine. Undo the bolts and pull the housing off and the thermostat will be there.

I WOULD LET THE DEALERSHIP REPLACE RADIO BECAUSE BY IT BEING PART OF THEFT SECURITY SYSTEM.IF YOU DO IT YOUR SELF YOU PROBABLY GOING TO HAVE NO START PROBLEMS.THE PCM WILL GO IN THEFT MODE THINKING SOMEBODY TRYING TO STEAL RADIO OR CAR.IF DEALERSHIP FIX THEY PUT IN NEW RADIO THEN REPROGRAM IT.

In the owners under specifications it will have what fluid to use. It will more than likely be dexron III which is an Automatic Transmission Fluid. Your best bet if you don't have a owners manual is to use any Power Steering Fluid as long as it has on the bottle that it meets the requirements for Mitsubishi models built in 2003. That is what I would do and I am a workshop technician for an Australian Traffic Control company.

turn the key all the way back and forth (without starting it)
wiggle the key rapidly while trying to slowly pull the key out.
once you get it out try putting some graphite power in there and working it back and forth
