SOURCE: I have 99 ford F250.The

do you have a source of vacuum? normal problem occurs on the vaccum line from the engine to the vacuum switch of the car. unplug the vacuum hoses from the rear of the switch and feel if there is hose that is sucking your finger. if there is none, then trace the line towards the engine firewall out to the engine compartment. it could be broken that is why it is stuck in defrost mode.

i hope i was able to help.
pls rate me..
tnx..drcool

SOURCE: radiator leak 99 Ford Expedition back drivers side

You are likely leaking coolant from a heater line or hose, check the hose that comes from the water pump{smaller of the two] and see if it has a leak in it or if there is just a loose hose clamp. If you can't find a leak in the hoses or any steel tubes then you need to take it to a radiater shop and have it pressure tested to see if you have a leak in the intake manifold gasket or maybe even the head gasket, good luck.

SOURCE: where is the egr valve on a 99 Ford expedition

The EGR valve is in a very difficult spot to work on. If the EGR is bad it will set off the check engine light and make the vehicle run rough or stall at idle. It really doesn't make it run rough while driving or accelerating. What are the conditions when the car runs rough?

Emission control vacuum routing 99 Ford expedition 5.4 Triton

The emission hose routing diagram should be on a 3" x 5" sticker either on the underside of the hood or on the top of the radiator support or on the air cleaner housing cover. It's kind of a symbolic diagram but will indicate what goes where. There are very few vacuum lines on one of these so it should be pretty straight forward.

2003 Eddie Bauer ford 5.4 expedition has vacuum hose/hoses hooked up incorrectly plus a broken hose that I do not know where it was connected on either end(possibly has something to do with a/c). Anyone...

"The hot water check valve line runs into the firewall..it goes to the port closet to the passenger side. The main vacuum hose from the engine runs across to the canister behind the battery. There are two check valves in the main line. 1st check valve is close to the engine and its just a straight valve and the other check valve is close by the computer and has a tee built in it. The tee part runs down to the only and last port running into the firewall and there you have. Air and heat coming out the vents or defrost when you command"
Someone else did the hard work for me. Good luck.

Egr

if its a low flow code replace the DPFE sensor. If you do a resistance check of it it will prabably be out of specs. Also make sure the two hoses are hooked up and arnt cracked. Also blow thru each one to make sure the tubes going into the exhaust arnt clogged. Also make sure the grn hose going to the egr valve is plugged in. Also apply vacuum to the egr valve to make sure it holds vacuum. If it doesnt then the vlave is bad.

2003 ford expedition locker malfunction

Lack of power because of the vacuum leak wher the line is disconnected from. Start the engine and with hood raised, listen for the vacuum hiss fron it sucking air in and hook the loose line to that fitting where you hear the leak.
