Dealer replaced driver side frt wheel bearing. When I got home and looked under frt end there is a lot of fluid dripping off center casing car has never leaked adrop before what could have happened

Some driveshafts are retained in the differential by a circlip and can't be disturbed accidentally during a wheel bearing change or other similar work.

Some driveshafts aren't retained and can easily be displaced during a wheel bearing change. If the greatest care isn't taken during the refit the differential side (driveshaft) oil seal can be damaged and I expect that is where the fluid is leaking from.

CHANGE RT FRT WHEEL BEARING 1994 BUICK REGAL ...3.8.....FRT WHEEL DRIVE

You will have to remove the wheel,of course, remove the brake caliper, pads, and the brake caliper bracket, then the rotor, and any brackets holding the brake hose to get it out of the way. Then remove the large nut on the axle, and remove all the bolts holing the bearing assembly on the spindle, and tap it out ward, and make sure the axle stays put,do not let the axle come outward with the bearing, using a two by four to tap the axle inward toward the axle while removing the bearing assembly. If this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.
