My 99 dodge 1500 quad cab passenger seat belt wont release

What can I do to get the passenger side seat belt to release. The seat belt light stays on and the belt wont pull out of the back of the seat. The dealer said some thing about taking the seat apart and changing the retractor? and it would caost almost $400 bucks is there anything I can do to fix it?

Get a retractor from a salvage for half price, you need like a torx 50 or 55 to remove the retractor

I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 sport 5 7 hemi when i press my brakes my front passenger side running light comes on when the lights are on the rear passenger side blinker does not work

Bad light bulbs are a good place to look...have you replaced any lately. Look for a bulb where the filiment may be broke and laying against the filiment below it. I would suspect the stop light bulbs first.

My tail lights on the driver side only do not work I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500.The lights on the passenger side work fine

The wiring of the harness is parallel to the sides. hence you will need to trace the driverr side lamp connection backwards to the joining section of the line. Please check on the ground connection of the lamp assembly, remove and clean and reset after confirming that the groundis fine but the voltage does not reach on switch on of the park lamps. If this becomes difficult to trace just take a parallel wires from the passenger side lamp to be connected to the non working side. this will work fine. Please take care to insulate.Good day

what you have to do is make sure door lock is in unlocked position put a flash light inside the door to see you need to get a screwdriver into the release spring area try to pry up on the hook area that flips over the piece thats mounted to the door jam it should release sounds like you need to spray wd or blaster in the lock assembly return spring not kicking back

1999 Dodge 2500 passenger side seat belt wont release

so after completely tearing the seat apart I found 2 wires going up to the seat belt mechanism from under the seat, these wires got caught in the seat mechanism underneath and were shredded. There must be a small solenoid inside the seat belt mechanism because I could hear it click after I repaired the wires(this circuit is live even with the ignition off) Im not sure how it all works but this solved my problem.
