SOURCE: peugeot 106 independence brake lights

Ok man, i don't if that helps you, but when i tried it in my 1989 peugeot 205.
Try this: put on the hazzard lights and that will test some of the brake light circuit.

SOURCE: location of Lambda (oxygen) sensor plug in 1991 peugeot 405 mi16

1.The oxygen sensor is located where the manifold comes together and meet the exhaust pipe.
2. The second one would be located after the catalytic converter.
Go to this website and you will see an example.

SOURCE: where is the speed sensor located on a 1994 pontiac bonneville

Speed sensors are on the outside of the trans but mounted to it. Go to your parts store and ask for your part. Once you have a visual of what it looks like, get under the car, find the trans and bingo!

How do I replace the speed censor on my Peugeot 406 and where on the gearbox is it located?

A speed censor would be a part which refuses to tell you how fast you are going. A speed sensor tells the computer how fast the final drive is turning, and thus is normally located on the rear section of the transmission and held in place by bolts or screws in place.

I have a a peugeot 106 xn and am juist learning how to drive. whenever i'm at a traffic lights on a hill and want to start going, the engine tends to go out. I dont know whether i'm just going off the...

More revs and slower off the clutch. Takes some practice, maybe having an instructor gives you a false sense of security. Listen to the engine, shoudl not dip down too much when you start to pull away.

Vote for me, thanks :)

Gears stick

If your car is a manual gear change, your clutch may need adjusting or repair or the gearbox oil may need changing.
If your car is an auto check to see if you are using the correct transmission fluid , Peugeot autos do not use normal ATF and will fail if the correct fluid is not used.
Hope this helps Marshall

I have a peugeot 106 quiksilver, my oil light is always on when my engine is on but i have checked my oil and it is full?do you know if there is something wrong?

It could be a faulty oil sending unit or sensor. If the light sometimes flickers it could be worn main bearings at the crank shaft. But, replace the oil sending unit first that should take care of the problem.
