Use test light to check volts at pump, when key is in on position. if none then check for blown fuse in fuse box under dash or under hood.
if all else fails will have to check wiring, trace it out looking for shorts.

check owners manual for fuse/relay locations.

1992 dodge caravan replaced fuel pump gas still not flowing properly

Did you change the fuel filter? changing pump stirs up sludge in tank, and a clogged filter puts stress on pump and can cause failure.

Where is the fuel pump located

The electric fuel pump in this van like all fuel injected late model Dodges is located inside the fuel tank. You must drop the fuel tank out of the van to replace the pump.

Fuel pump wiring diagram for 1998 chevy express. gas tank when dry, clogged fuel filter. changed fuel filter and van started he let it run out of gas again but now gettin no power to fuel pump. there is...

Well if theres power going to the relay but not out, then you need a new relay. If theres power in and out of the relay, you might need a new fuel pump. The electric fuel pumps inside the tank are actually lubricated by the fuel as it pumps it, and if it runs dry long enough, it can burn out the pump

Fuel pump location

  1. You fuel pump is located next to the gas tank.. Relieve the fuel system pressure and drain the fuel tank. Disconnect the negative battery cable with a socket wrench. Support the fuel tank and loosen the strap bolts.
  2. Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel tank and disconnect the fuel pump's electrical connector.

  3. Access the fuel pump by lowering the fuel tank. Remove the locking ring on the fuel pump with a socket wrench and remove the fuel pump.

  4. Install the new fuel pump using the items included in the kit and tighten the locking ring to 40 foot lbs with a torque wrench. You will also need a torque wrench to tighten the main straps on the fuel tank to 40 foot lbs. and the T strap to 250 inch lbs.

1995 dodge van falls down when the fuel tank gets to 1/4 of fuel

sounds like a possible pluged fuel filter or a tired fuel pump. the pump is cooled by the gas. so if you work it at 1/4 tank or below it tends to get hot. but towing may make it hot anyway. check fuel pressure and the replace the fuel filter
