Most vehicles have a diagram on the underside of the hood that shows the vacuum line routing. Just open your hood and look up!

You can do a google image search on "1986 comanche 2.8l v6 vacuum diagram"

Here's the direct link to a diagram, though I'm not sure it will work here:

Fix rough idle and stalling on 1986 S10 blazer.only keeps running if pumping gas pedal. was running good and all of a sudden started dying out.

I would start by changing the fuel filter. Run some injector cleaner through it. And check for more of those rotten lines. You can check by spraying a little starting fluid around the vacuum lines. Be careful though. Its flammable. But the engine should speed up if you have a leak.

Engine does not turn over

Not missng a push rod, sound more like what is called the connecting rod. This normally comes lose from either no oil, or someone has been running the engine past red line. The clicking noise is from the solinoid and it does this especially in cases like this when you have destroyed your motor. It sounds like you will have to have your motor replaced.

When i give my car gas a whistle comes from the engine. It's a high pitch continual sound. When i let off the gas the whistle stops. It sounds like it's coming from the top of the block.70k miles...

Sounds like a vacume leak, chk. for a cracked or broken vacume line or maybe one came off. Does it idle ruff? With it running open hood and listen for a low pitch whistle you may have to rev it up a little.
