You can buy a subscription from Lexus which will cost a small fortune or you can buy a subscription to alldatadiy.com or eautorepair.net. OR, you can call your local library and ask if they offer either of those two services inside the library.

SOURCE: ? to Replace Timing belt on 2000 Lexus Rx300 with 57,000 miles.

If it is running perfectly I wouldn't think that you would need to replace the timing belt. You shouldn't need to replace that until 100,000-120,000 miles. I would definitely hold off until now unless you have start having some timing problems. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for rating my response and for using FixYa!

SOURCE: Lexus RX300 engine light n VSC light comes on

VSC means Vehicle Stability Control.

It comes on when the sensor send a signal that the vehicle is not stable on the ground.....check the wheel balancing and alignment and the air pressure of your tires too.

Good luck.

SOURCE: VSC warning light and check engine code 786 on

The VSC warning light, Trac Off and check engine is probably an easy fix. If you look under the air filter/cleaner box there is probably a rubber hose that has been disconnected from a steel line. This is common if you have had the oil changed recently, the tech will check the ail filter and doesn't realize the hose has been disconnected.

What does TSB stand for

Technical Service Bulletins, or TSBs, are recommended procedures for repairing vehicles. They are a form of diagnosis. Not to be confused with recalls, a TSB is issued by a vehicle manufacturer when there are several occurrences of an unanticipated problem.

Abs light is on my 2002 tohoe what is the ohms for the speed sensors

I do not beleive that there is a specific test for the speed sensors that measure the resistance of the sensor, if there is you should be able to measure the opposite wheels and figure out what it should be.

The best way to figure out what sensor is bad is to have it scanned, it may not be a sensor at all.

There are several TBS's and recalls on the wheel speed sensors, call a dealership and find out if yours qualifys.

How to tighten belts on a 2002 Lexus RX300

Bring it back to the dealer, tell them they squeck. new belts should not squeck. Squeaking means they are too loose or have fluids on them. If they're not shiny, the're loose.
