2015 Australian Ford Falcon FG-X sedan. The intermittent wiper option isn't operating. I believe this is connected to a rain sensor, could this be the problem? The other wiper selections are ok

Check fuses for it and the relay it could be the sensor but check the cheapest first also the wiper multi function turn signal switch could have a bad switch in it for the wipers intermittent function and take out the plug for the motor and check it for corrosion and clean it as well as the relay blades or change the relay for that function part of the wipers any oxidation or corroded contacts will stop the electrical path through the circuit so check and clean all contacts on the fuses relays switch connections from the turn switch and the wiper motor good luck stephen

SOURCE: Wiper motor works on high speed only. Intermittent and slow speed options unavailable. Car = 2010 Ford Falcon FG XR6.

Most commonly this is a wiper speed control switch problem. Remove it and test it.

Ford Falcon XE. Removal of the entire wiper assembly to access rust spots, xe falcon, Australia.

The rubber is probably fused to it because of age. Spray it with silicone spray to lubricate it.

Some generic help in the link. We don't have the Ford Falcon here in North America as it was purely for the Australian market. The link may work better for you that it does for me..

Intermittent wipers not functioning properly on 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Does it have the rain sensor (behind the mirror). Sometimes the rain sensor module comes loose.
Otherwise probably the wiper motor, which has the park limit switch in it, needs to be replaced.

I have a 1983 Ford Falcon XE. The speedomoter

You most likely have a faulty speedometer transducer, or loose/poor connections to this unit.
The unit is generally unrepairable - replacement required.
The transducer unit is mounted on the gearbox at the tailshaft drive output.
