chances are you have a relay problem. generally in normal operation when you turn the key voltage engergizes a relay that then closes the circuit which allows current to the fuel pump. now as far as no spark what do you have as far as ignition? is it coil packs or a distributor? have you checked the fuses to make sure they are not burnt. if you have a distributor lift the cap and crank the engine. make sure it's spinning. if it's not chances are it's a broken gear or tang on the distributor/ or a broken timing belt/chain or gear on the front of engine. now if you have coil pack it's the pack that is bad. make sure you are checking all your wire connections and the plug wires as well. hope this helps. please rate this solution.. Thanks and good luck

The wires should be grey, orange and black, purple, and a black wire. The purple goes to purple, grey to gray. The orange and black goes to the small black wire on your car harness and the black goes to the bigger black.

A $20 service manual should include wiring diagrams which will show you color codes. When you buy a manual, make sure it has diagrams. murf427
