FORD E350 losses power after 2 hours of driving. Speed will drop down to 20-25 and won't shift any longer. But if I put on neutral and press on the gas, the engine will rev up.

No year posted is there a check engine light on and a wrench sign on the instrument panel? If so is this a drive by wire throttle body with a motor (electronic motor for gas pedal instead of manual throttle lever with a cable if so the motor went and your in fail safe/ limp mode go to autozone and have codes read for free then you'll know for sure what the problem is

Sounds like it goes into "limp mode" sometimes this happens to keep from damaging transmission. Transmission may be over heating or low on transmission fluid.

SOURCE: automatic ford escort 1998 will not shift out of "park"

There is a switch between the brake and the transmission. I forget what its called but unless you have your brake pedal pressed your car will not shift out of park. If you do have your brake pedal pressed there may be something wrong with the sensor.

SOURCE: 1988 Bronco 2 stalling out.

have te ignition module and stator been replaced? that is the common cause of this, and yes the engine being out of time can cause this stall out, when you time the engine remember you must remove the timing shorting bar at the distributor connector to the TFI ignition module or the timing will be severely retarded

While i am driving my 2001 e-350 goes into neutral what is wrong

Though it will not harm your transmission to shift into Neutral while your vehicle is in motion, the additional wear on your brakes by leaving the transmission in Drive will be negligible over the life of the brake pads. It is that minor. NEVER, EVER go into neutral while slowing down to a stop, for 3 reasons: 1.

96 explorer disengages 4wh low but does not engage 2wheel

Does it shift to 4wd high range ? If so then shift to 2wd . What is going on here is the transfer case motor is stopping due to the motor position sensor has gone bad which means that you replace the transfer case motor assembly. But if you wish to make it a 2wd for awhile then remove motor and manually turn shaft . This can be done by raising and supporting rear axle truck in park remove motor turn shaft slowly with pliers and rotating the play in drive shaft. There are stamped markings on back of case showing gear positions..

Losing power going up hills

sounds pretty normal. what speed do you try out the passing gear? anything above 35-45 mph and it will feel like neutral. Passing gear is actually only 1st gear. When you press down the pedal, it forces the transmisson to shift into low gear.

2006 ford explorer shudder at 40 miles per hour intermittent

If you feel it in the brake pedal and/or steering wheel you have a bad brake pulsation in the front brakes. Just replace the rotors as having them turned or machined will make them warp sooner due to the loss of material from machining. More cost effective to just replace them. If this vehicle has a 4 speed automatic......shift down into D to hook-up to the engine thru the transmission to help slow the vehicle down long hills like mountain driving. GET IT OUT OF OVERDRIVE TO SAVE THE BRAKES.
Hope this solves your problem.

Car won't shift into 3rd and 4th. If you put it in neutral then down to drive it's okay but then goes back into neutral. Did a ****** filter change and no luck.

Year, brand, model would be helpful. You sure a speedometer cable is broke? If you have a newer car most of them have speed sensor(s). If a speed sensor is not working, it could be the problem with the shifting. Please rate my answer so I get points awarded.

My brothers 2000 ford ranger the fuse went out to the speed sensor. I change the speed sensor because it did not shift out of 1st gear and the speedometer stopped working. I then found out the fuse was missing in the fuse panel. My brother could not tell where the fuse went but when I put a fuse in it started shifting and the speedometer started working. everything was good. You should have a code if it is the speed sensor.

Loss of power steering, radio, and window controls only when in drive if i put it in park and neutral all of the above returns

You will need to replace the shift lever position switch mounted on the transmission under the shift lever. Not too hard to do, but it does have to be aligned right to work right. Look closely at it and there is a line that marks the proper position when the lever is in neutral.
