How do I remove the front seat head rests on a 2013 jeep patriot?

There is a button on the inside metal post, but not one on the door side post. Thus, the outside post does not extend more than a couple of inches.

SOURCE: Driver's side door power locks are stuck; door stuck shut.

sounds like the rods are disconnected the clips hold the rods in place the latching mechanism holds the handle in place as well did you replace the speakers or did a shop? if a shop did then they caused this if you did then you may have caused this either way untill you reattach the rods none of it will work. you will have to manually open the door at the latch from inside teh door behind the panel.

SOURCE: How to remove the inside left side front door

Snap out two door pull strap retaining screw covers. Remove screws.
Remove screws on front, rear and center of front door trim panel.
Using the Trim Pad Removing Tool or equivalent, pry the trim panel retaining clips from the door inner panel.
These are plastic so be careful you can use a pair of needle nose pliers if you don't have a trim tool.Just start at bottom of door panel and work your way around and up.

SOURCE: 1997 Lexus front door will not open from outside

unless you are mechanically inclinde don't mess with it get someoen you love and adore to do it for you, you can break the tabs that hold the door on and it can get expensive the worst part is it might not open at all if you don't understand how to operate it unless you have one of the experts here helping you with it step by step, but could take as much as 4 hours depending on your ability to work with your hands. Some people just don't need to own wrenchs they are a danger to themselves and the public at large, not saying they are not smart but just don't have the know how and motor skills. I am telling you this so you won't have a headache on your hands.

How to remove the headrests from the driver and passenger seat of a 2007 Chevy Uplander?

Remove the storage tray from the back of the driver and passenger seats. This can be a trick in itself. You have to squeeze together some body style clips with needle nose pliers going in from the bottom where the tray section meets the seat fabric. When you get the right and left hand side clips free the tray panel should just tilt out at bottom. Then just slide the whole tray panel up and then you can pull it out. Now you can get to the head rests. From the inside of the seat you can see the 2 head rest posts that connect to the cushion portion of it. Follow the 2 posts up until you see the black plastic sleeves they slide in. Take some channel locks and grab the black sleeves and turn them (they only turn one way) until the cut outs in the bottom of the sleeves are facing the front and rear of the van rather than the right and left sides. Once these are turned you can easily lift the whole head rest out.

I'm trying to remove the headrest on my 2003 mustang front seat.

On the part that you squeeze to raise the head rest is a little hole on the inside between the 2 bars. You need to push a paper clip or something like that in the hole to release the stop and keep pushing as you lift. Once that is done then you can pull the rest out.

Good luck
