I need to remove the rear door interior panel on my 2004 cts cadillac . the window has jumped off the track.

If you pull the windows they will separate from the window channel hardware. If separated there is nothing to keep the window glass held up and it will fall back down. Check your fuses for power windows, there may be more than one. Also check the power window relay(s). The relays may be located under the hood in the fuse box.

just remove the door card/panel , lower the regulator/winder and manipulate it back into position then secure it.
You may want to investigate why it came off.

you have to remove the door panel..unbolt the tracking from inside the door..slide the windows back inside the track rails....push window all the way up..tape the window so that id does not fall back down or have someone hold window up while you rebolt the track to the door.replace door panel....the tracks move over time and that it why the window fell.

open trunk, remove the plastic panel around the latch plate, remove the plastic mounting bolts that hold the grey trunk liners in place, there are two 10mm nuts that hold in the light remove nuts pull out light twist the bulb retainer out and replace bulb.

Remove the door panel,to access the window regulator.
Most likely the regulator will be broken.
If you attempt to just put things back together,they will, as you say,jump off again. e.g. something is worn or broken,so look for that to be your problem

Yes its possible, the roller has come out of the track You would have to remove the arm rest and panel screws off and remove the cover with the door open unsnap the clips on the door and let the door hang down use a flashlight to see the roller that's off track pick the glass up and slid into the glass guides and move the window up till you get the roller into the track, have the key on in case you need to raise the window up or down to get it to go into the track, if the roller is broke you can buy one at a junk yard, if the roller is ok then the stop pin may have fallen out and you will have to use a roll pin to keep the roller from coming out of the track. Hope this helps.

you'll need to remove your door panel (screws are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door) and pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything.

If you have power windows start by disconnecting your negative battery cable. Then you need to locate and remove the screws that hold your interior door handles in place (they may be hidden by snap in, or snap on clips). Once you remove the screws that hold the door handles, remove any wire connectors to the handles, if they're not power you will need a small hook (kinda like a knitting needle) to remove the window crank. A manual window crank is held in place by a clip on the base. Slide the hook behind the base and remove the clip. The door panel itself, is held on by snap in clips, and you will need a small pry bar to pull them from the door (try to get as close to, or directly under the clips to prevent them from tearing out of the door panel). Once the clips are removed from the door, pull the panel upward to remove it from the door.

Install in reverse.

You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. well i have the same problem my Left side rear window came off the track so i took the door panel off. The door panel comes off by taking two srews out that are behind the lower handel off the door. The upper silver handel has a black peace off plastic behind it it is held on by clips. also you have to take the little peace of the lock thing that pops up. After you get the two screws out grad the door panel below the speaker and give it a good pull once it pops out you can take the peace out thats behing the silver handle. After you get the door panel to pop out you have to left it up. I think i need new parts so i will take it to the dealer. the door works with a pully and a cable the cable in my door is all twisted up.
